For some people, one of the best parts of hiking is the views. There’s nothing like climbing to the top of a high mountain and admiring the scenery below you. Some places in North America are completely magical when you see them in person, and almost just as good when you see them in photos. While nothing will ever be quite as good as the real thing, we’re pretty sure these photos will make you want to hike now.

The Wave

All we can say is “Wow!” This place is absolutely breathtaking and one of the biggest reasons to visit Alberta, Canada. Everything about this park will blow your mind away and we’re pretty sure that a photo like this demonstrates that. Banff National Park is the oldest national park in Canada but still welcomes new visitors every year. Filled with many glaciers, ice fields, and lush evergreens, this section of Canada’s Rocky Mountains will make you want to get outside ASAP.
